Among the first factors that should be considered when making this decision is the type and size of application where the machine will be used. This is important in determining the capacity of the icemaker to purchase. Portable ice makers for example would be great for household uses but not for use in commercial establishments. Also, the level of noise that the machine produces while operating should be considered.
